Abilio Cardoso, 90, of Providence RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the loving husband of Natalia Cardoso and father of Pedro Cardoso, Maria (Lelena) Morais, John Cardoso, Maria (Daisy) Cardoso, Joanna Johanson, Nathaniel Cardoso, Eurides Cardoso, Antonia Cardoso, Sonia Cardoso, and Monica Cardoso. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his sisters Maria Morais, Angelina Correia Morais, Dulce Correia Morais, 27 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Abilio immigrated from Brava, Cape Verde in 1975. He was a gentle soul who raised a caring and close-nit family. He enjoyed spending time on the ocean and shared his passion for fishing with his family.

He opened up his heart and home to all who knew him. He will forever be in our hearts and prayers.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 5pm-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Mass services are private.
